Classical denim style
Spring trends always feel like a breath of fresh air, especially when it comes to denim. While jeans—be them skinny, flared, baggy, or straight-leg—truly never go out of style, there are certain nuances that gain steam during one season versus another.
Recently I obsess on 80th fashion which means I think vintage style is fabulous, it also became my favorite now. To be honest, it was very hard to get out of skinnies in my childhood until I wore the high-rise wide-leg jean, then I find it hard to get back into them. I think it comes with being a certain age – you look more rock’n’roll in skinny jeans, but more elegant in the high-rise wide-leg jeans.

High waisted jeans are everywhere and have been for a long time. This new denim style, however, is essentially the antithesis to the skinny, taking the snug fit out of your jeans and replacing it with an extremely loose fit, in non-stretch denim. Usually cropped to an ankle hovering length, the high-rise wide-leg jean is a nod to the Seventies, but requires no platform boot to make it wearable.
